Acceptable Use Policy

Effective October 5, 2026

Vidtiz lets a company send a short video to a prospect and pay that prospect a reward for watching it and answering a few questions. Because money changes hands with the recipient, how a campaign is sent matters as much as what it says. This policy sets the rules every sender agrees to when using Vidtiz.

How the reward works

The reward is a gift card, fulfilled by a third-party gift-card provider. Vidtiz does not pay cash, and neither does the sender — when a recipient completes a campaign, Vidtiz orders a gift card from its provider and the provider delivers it. That provider sets its own eligibility and geographic restrictions, and those restrictions apply to the recipient. A reward is not redeemable everywhere or by everyone, and neither Vidtiz nor the sender can waive the provider’s rules.

A recipient earns the reward by watching the campaign video, answering the quiz questions that confirm they watched it, and answering the qualifying questions that follow. Finishing that flow is the only condition. Nothing else is required, and nothing about the answers themselves changes whether the reward is earned.

Every send expires. The sender sets the window when the campaign is created, so how long a recipient has varies from campaign to campaign. A reward that has not been earned by the time the send expires is forfeited — the link stops working, and the reserved money returns to the sender rather than being paid out.

A campaign reaches a given contact once. Vidtiz rejects a second send of the same campaign to the same contact, so no recipient is sent the same campaign twice. That rule is narrower than the rolling 30-day frequency cap under Limits below, which Vidtiz also enforces: the 30-day cap covers every campaign from the same sender, so a recipient cannot receive a reward from that sender more than once in a rolling 30 days.

Rewards are funded in advance. A sender deposits money into a Vidtiz wallet before sending, and each send reserves its reward against that balance the moment it goes out. A send that has no funded balance behind it does not go out at all. The reservation becomes a payment when the recipient completes the campaign, and is released back to the sender if the send expires unredeemed.

Warm relationships

Send only to people you already have a relationship with — a customer, a past customer, someone who asked to hear from you, someone you have met or corresponded with, or someone who gave you their contact details for this purpose. Vidtiz is a way to reach people who already know who you are. It is not a way to reach strangers.

This obligation rests with you, the sender. Vidtiz does not inspect where your contacts came from and does not verify that a prior relationship exists. You confirm that it does each time you send, and sending to someone you have no relationship with violates this policy whether or not we detect it.

List sourcing

Contacts must come from your own records. You may not upload or send to a list that was purchased, rented, licensed, traded, scraped from websites or social profiles, harvested by a data broker, or otherwise assembled from people who never gave their details to you.

Handing a bought list to Vidtiz turns paid rewards into an inducement for strangers to hand over personal data, which is exactly what this policy exists to prevent. Uploading such a list is a violation on its own, before any send goes out.

No purchase necessary

A recipient never has to buy anything to receive a reward. Earning a reward may not be made conditional on a purchase, a subscription, a trial signup, a deposit, a payment of any kind, or on the recipient spending their own money in any other way.

A campaign may absolutely ask for a purchase — that is what the call-to-action at the end is for. But the reward is already earned by then, and the recipient keeps it whether they act on the call-to-action or ignore it.

Sender identification

Every send identifies the company behind it. The recipient sees who is contacting them before they watch anything, and campaign content must not disguise, misspell, or misattribute the sender, imitate another company, or present the message as coming from Vidtiz rather than from you.

A recipient should be able to tell, from the message alone, who sent it and why they are hearing from that company.

Rewards and sales

The reward is paid for completing the campaign — watching the video and answering the questions that follow. That is the whole condition. It is not payment for a sale, a meeting, a signature, a referral, a positive review, or an answer of any particular kind.

Answer the questions honestly and the reward is earned. A sender may not withhold, claw back, reduce, or re-scope a reward because the recipient declined the offer, gave answers the sender did not want, or turned out not to be a promising lead. Nor may a campaign promise extra compensation for buying or for saying the right thing.

Reward disclosure

Every campaign meets all three of the following rules. They apply to every send, whatever the reward amount or the offer behind it.

  1. The amount is stated up front. The recipient is shown the exact reward amount before they watch or answer anything. A sender may not hide, understate, or misstate the amount, and the amount shown at the start is the amount paid on completion.
  2. No purchase necessary. The recipient never has to buy, subscribe, sign up for a trial, deposit, or pay anything to earn the reward. See No purchase necessary above.
  3. Issued regardless of interest. Once the recipient completes the campaign — watches the video and answers its questions — the reward is issued whether or not they are interested in buying, act on the call-to-action, or turn out to be a promising lead. Completing the campaign is still required; see How the reward works and Rewards and sales above.

Limits

Every campaign sent through Vidtiz stays within the following caps, and the platform enforces them. Each cap is checked at the moment a campaign is created or a send goes out, and a campaign or send that would exceed one is refused. All amounts are in US dollars.

  • Reward value per recipient: a single reward is no more than USD $250.
  • Recipients per campaign: a campaign is sent to no more than 100 contacts, counting every send the campaign has made, including ones that expired.
  • Same recipient, rolling 30 days:a given recipient receives at most 1 reward from the same sender in any rolling 30-day period, whichever of that sender’s campaigns it comes from. A sender also cannot send a recipient a new reward while an earlier send from that sender to the same recipient is still open.
  • Reward value sent per day: an account sends no more than USD $1,000 of rewards per day, counted when sent, whether or not they are later paid.
  • Account spend per month: the rewards an account has paid this month, plus the rewards still reserved on its open sends, never exceed USD $10,000.

The daily cap counts the reward value of every send made that day. The monthly cap counts rewards paid that month plus rewards still reserved against the sender’s wallet on sends that have not yet been completed or expired. Days and months are measured in UTC.

Because the caps are checked when a send goes out, never when the recipient finishes, a recipient who completes a send that went out is always paid. A cap never withholds or reduces a reward that has been earned.

Higher limits are available after an account review. If you need one, write to support@vidtiz.com before you send the campaign.

Trying to get around a cap — for example, by splitting one sender across several accounts — is a violation of this policy, and Vidtiz may suspend the account.

Suspension

Vidtiz may suspend or close an account that violates this policy. We may do so without notice where a violation is causing harm to recipients, and we may hold or cancel sends that are in flight while we look into it. Depending on what we find, we may also stop fulfilling rewards for the campaign involved.

Funds held in a suspended account’s wallet remain that account’s, less rewards already earned by recipients. Recipients who completed a campaign before the suspension are still paid — a sender’s violation is not their problem.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, write to support@vidtiz.com and we will review it.
