Privacy Policy

Effective September 22, 2026

Vidtiz holds personal information about people who never signed up for it. When a sender uploads their contacts to send a campaign, Vidtiz receives those people’s details on the sender’s behalf. This policy explains what Vidtiz does with that information, and with the information of the senders who use it.

It sits alongside the Terms of Use, which govern a sender’s account, and the Acceptable Use Policy, which sets who a sender may contact.

The policy is in two parts. If a company sent you a campaign, read Part 1. If you have a Vidtiz account and send campaigns, read Part 2.

Part 1 — If you received a campaign

What Vidtiz holds about a campaign recipient

If a sender has sent you a campaign, this is everything Vidtiz holds about you.

  • Who you are. Your first name, last name and email address. These come from the sender, not from you — Vidtiz never asks you for them. Senders may upload their contacts in bulk, so your details may have arrived as one row in a list.
  • What happened with each campaign. For every campaign sent to you, Vidtiz records when it was sent, when you opened the link, when you finished watching the video, when you finished answering the questions, whether you clicked the campaign’s call-to-action button, and when your reward was issued and when you claimed it.
  • Your score. If the campaign asks questions to check what you took from the video, Vidtiz keeps your score on them.
  • Your answers.Your answers to the campaign’s questions are kept, and shared with the sender who ran the campaign.
  • Your reward. The amount of your gift card, the order reference the gift-card provider gave it, and the link you use to claim it.

The link to each campaign expires on a schedule the sender sets. After that, it no longer opens the campaign.

Who else receives recipient information

The following parties see information about a campaign recipient. No one else receives it from Vidtiz.

  • The sender. The company that ran the campaign receives the recipient’s engagement record — whether the campaign was opened and completed — and the recipient’s answers to its questions. The campaign exists so the sender can learn this, and it is the reason Vidtiz holds the information at all.
  • The gift-card fulfilment provider. The reward is a gift card, fulfilled by a third-party gift-card provider. When a recipient earns a reward, Vidtiz gives that provider the recipient’s full name, email address and the reward amount so it can deliver the gift card. From that point the provider’s own terms, and its eligibility and geographic restrictions, apply to the recipient.
  • The video hosting provider. The campaign video is served by a third-party video hosting provider. Like any content delivery network, it sees the viewer’s IP address and browser user agent when the video is streamed.

Vidtiz collects no viewing analytics or behavioral telemetry while the video plays. Playback is not tracked second by second, and no viewing profile is built from it.

Vidtiz’s payment processor handles senders’ wallet deposits only. It receives no information about recipients.

How long recipient information is kept

Vidtiz keeps a recipient’s information for up to 24 months after the last campaign sent to them, and then removes it. The period runs from the most recent send, not the first: each new campaign a sender sends you restarts it.

A sender may delete a contact from their own account at any time. Doing so removes that contact and the history of every campaign sent to them.

Deleting a record does not withdraw a reward already issued and paid out: a gift card you have claimed stays yours. Deletion concerns the record Vidtiz holds, not money already paid.

Seeing or deleting what is held about you

You do not need an account to exercise these rights. Write to privacy@vidtiz.com from, or naming, the email address the request concerns. You may ask what Vidtiz holds about you, and you may ask for it to be deleted.

Requests are read and handled by people. There is no self-serve control, privacy dashboard or automated deletion flow — a written request is the only way in, and a person answers it.

If a campaign sent to you is still live when your deletion request arrives, your record is removed and that campaign’s link stops working. Any reward you had not yet redeemed is cancelled with it. A record cannot be erased while a reward stays pending against it.

If Vidtiz holds nothing about the address you name, we will tell you so. Every request gets an answer.

Part 2 — If you have a Vidtiz account

What Vidtiz holds about an account holder

If you have registered to send campaigns, this is what Vidtiz holds about you.

  • Who you are. Your name and email address, which you give when you register.
  • Your company. The name of the company you send campaigns on behalf of. Recipients see it on every campaign.
  • Your payment details.Wallet deposits are paid by card through Vidtiz’s payment processor, and your payment details are held by that processor. Vidtiz keeps only the references the processor gives it to identify your payments.

Your card details are entered on the payment processor’s own payment page and handled entirely by it. Vidtiz never receives or stores your card number.

The contacts you upload

When you upload contacts, you are the source of that information — Vidtiz holds it on your behalf so you can send campaigns to those people, as Part 1 describes. You remain responsible for having had a prior relationship with everyone you upload, as the Acceptable Use Policy requires.
